BANGOR, Maine -- The University of New England women's swimming team won all 10 individual events to top Husson University, 160-74, on Saturday at Webber Pool.

Big Blue moves to 4-0 on the season, while the Eagles drop to 0-2.

Seven different swimmers captured races, led by senior Sara Shea (Peabody, Mass.) and juniors Meaghan Arsenault (Methuen, Mass.) and Amy Miele (Queensbury, N.Y.) with two apiece. Shea took the 50- and 100-yard breaststroke events, Arsenault the 50- and 500-freestyle, and Miele two spring races -- the 50-backstroke and the 50-butterfly.

Sophomores Rachel Hanley (Wiscasset, Maine) and Jenn LaComfora (Worcester, Mass.), along with seniors Alicia LaFlamme (Bangor, Maine) and Lizzie Wareham (Osterville, Mass.) also finished first in events -- the 100 back, 100 free, 1000 free, and 200 free, respectively.

LaComfora touched the wall just fractions of a second behind Miele in both of her wins, as did LaFlamme to Hanley and Wareham to Arsenault (500 free).

UNE is off until the weekend of December 2-3, when it heads to Roger Williams University for the Snowball Invitational.
