WILLIMANTIC, Conn. -- Eastern Connecticut State University picked up a 3-0 win Saturday morning at Geissler Gymnasium over the University of New England, claiming its third women's volleyball match of the 31st Annual Crabtree Invitational. The set scores were 25-17, 25-21, and 25-19.
The Warriors move to 11-6 on the year, while UNE drops to 7-11 overall. Both teams conclude play later this afternoon, with the Nor'easters facing Bridgewater State University (1 p.m.), and ECSU taking on Wheaton College (Mass.).

Paige Curran (Chelmsford, Mass.) had 13 kills and three blocks to lead Big Blue, which received a combined 15 kills from sophomore
Angie Brunette (North Andover, Mass.) and first-year
Leah Janelle (Madbury, N.H.) in support. Janelle also tallied 12 digs in the match.
