BRISTOL, R.I. -- Kenna Finlayson registered a match-high 14 kills to lead Rivier College to a 3-1 win (25-20, 25-20, 20-25, 25-16) over the University of New England in an early-afternoon match at the Roger Williams University Invitational.

First-year Angie Brunette (North Andover, Mass.) led a balanced UNE attack with eight kills. Sophomore Paige Curran (Chelmsford, Mass.) continued her strong early-season play at the net with five kills and seven total blocks (six solo). First-year Maria Kuehl (Middleton, N.H.) handed out 16 assists for the Nor'easters (2-3), who received 19 digs from first-year libero Kirsta Adie (Tyngsboro, Mass.).

Rivier setter Caitlin Callahan was credited with a match-best 41 assists to help fuel the victory.
