SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- The University of New England Nor'easters scored five times over the final two periods to take their first-ever ECAC East win with a 5-3 road victory at Skidmore College in men's ice hockey action Friday evening at Saratoga City Rink.
The victory snapped a seven-game losing streak for UNE, which improved to 2-17 overall and 1-13 in league play. The Thouroughbreds remained winless in their last five contests to fall to 7-11-1, 6-7-1 in ECAC East action.

After back-to-back goals by Skidmore got the Thoroughbreds back within one at 4-3, Moscatel put home an empty-net goal with 22 seconds remaining to secure victory for UNE.

Dallas Ungurian stopped 39 of 42 shots to register his second win for the Nor'easters, who play a road game at Castleton State College tomorrow (4 p.m.).
