BROOKLINE, Mass -- The University of New England had little trouble with Bay Path College in Saturday's non-conference women's volleyball contest, winning the match 3-0 with set scores of 25-10, 25-4, and 25-15.

Sophomore Lindsey Cashell (Merrimack, N.H.) had a match-best nine kills to lead the way for Big Blue (16-9). Senior Kristen Edwards (Laconia, N.H.) and sophomore Paige Curran (Chelmsford, Mass.) added seven apiece.

First-year setter Maria Kuehl (Middleton, N.H.) handed out 18 assists to go with four kills, eight digs and a pair of aces. Fellow first-year Ashley Thibodeau (Nashua, N.H.) chipped in a career-high 10 assists. Rookie Nicole Kalinowski (Tucson, Ariz.) had eight kills, three aces and six assists.

Kate Bartels and Nadine Harkless registered four kills apiece for Bay Path, which dropped to 7-12.
