BIDDEFORD, Maine -- Sophomore Kiel Hiller (Galloway, N.J.) scored just four minutes into the contest, and the University of New England held on in extremely soggy conditions to top Eastern Nazarene College, 1-0, in The Commonwealth Coast Conference men's soccer action Saturday afternoon.

After receiving a pass from classmate Owen Evans (W. Stockbridge, Mass.) near midfield, Hiller raced down the left sideline and beat the goalkeeper down low for what would be the game's only goal.

The Nor'easters up their record to 2-1 overall, now 1-0 in TCCC matches. Eastern Nazarene (0-2 TCCC) is winless in five outings.

Senior goalie Trevor Secord (Keene, N.H.) was called upon to make six saves for UNE, which travels to Mount Ida College Tuesday for a non-conference game beginning at 3:30 p.m.

The Lions, who visit Massachusetts Maritime Academy the same day, got 11 saves from junior Andrew Trice (Quincy, Mass.).
