BOSTON -- Senior co-captain Ellen Choinski (Saunderstown, R.I.) led the way with 23 assists and 19 digs as the University of New England swept Wentworth Institute of Technology, 3-0, in a The Commonwealth Coast Conference volleyball match Tuesday evening at Tansey Gymnasium. Set scores were 25-23, 25-14, 25-8.

First-year Lindsey Cashell (Merrimack, N.H.) led UNE up front with eight kills. Senior Claire Varner (Breckenridge, Mich.) supported with seven and junior Kristen Edwards (Laconia, N.H.) added five. First-year Paige Curran (Chelmsford, Mass.) served up three aces and was perfect on all 25 of her attempts from the service line.

The Nor'easters ( 6-8, 3-2 TCCC) are idle until this Friday and Saturday when they will participate in the 29th annual Crabtree Invitational held at Eastern Connecticut State University. The Nor'easters will take on host ECSU on Friday at 7 p.m.

The loss drops the Leopards' overall record to 3-17, 1-5 in conference play.
