BEVERLY, Mass. -- Host Endicott College completed a sweep of a The Commonwealth Coast Conference tri-match with a 3-0 victory (25-19, 25-15, 25-19) over the University of New England in volleyball action Saturday afternoon at the Post Center.

Earlier in the day, each team took identical 3-0 wins over Eastern Nazarene College.

Junior Kristen Edwards (Laconia, N.H.) played a strong game at the net for UNE, registering five kills and three blocks. Senior setter Ellen Choinksi (Saunderstown, R.I.) dished out 12 assists and was a perfect 10-for-10 at the service line.

Defensively, the Nor'easters received 16 digs from junior Angie Gust (Manitowoc, Wisc.), while first-year Paige Curran (Chelmsford, Mass.) was credited with four blocks.

The reigning TCCC champions Gulls upped their record to 11-7, 4-1 in conference play.

UNE (5-8, 2-2 TCCC) returns to the court Tuesday with a conference road match at Wentworth Institute of Technology. Start time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
