NEW LONDON, N.H. -- The University of New England scored an unassisted goal in each half and held its opponent scoreless for the sixth time this season, defeating Colby-Sawyer College, 2-0, in The Commonwealth Coast Conference men's soccer action Wednesday afternoon.
With the win, the Nor'easters improve to 9-4 overall, 6-3 in conference games. The six TCCC victories are the most UNE has posted in one season since joining the league in 1999.

Elia Del Molino (Glendale, Mass.) got the visitors on the board with his first goal of the season in the 32nd minute, converting a free kick from just outside the box.

Dylan Saucier (Windham, Maine) added an insurance goal in the 80th minute to provide the two-goal margin.
Play opened up for the Nor'easters in the second frame, as they out-shot the Chargers, 11-6. For the game, UNE earned nine corner kicks to Colby-Sawyer's one.

Jon Planer (Yarmouth, Maine) made five saves to pick up his fourth shutout of the season for the Nor'easters, who travel to Wentworth Institute of Technology Saturday for a 4 p.m. match.
The Chargers (2-12, 1-8 TCCC), who received 10 saves from senior Chris Feltes (Manchester, N.H.), visit Salve Regina University the same day.
