QUINCY, Mass. - First-year forwards Maggie Mahoney and Katie Caron each scored two goals to lead the University of New England to a 5-1 victory over host Eastern Nazarene College in a The Commonwealth Coast Conference women's soccer game played Saturday at Memorial Field.

The Nor'easters (3-0) got first-half goals from Mahoney, sophomore midfielder Kristin Meza, and Caron to open up a commanding lead.

Mahoney gave UNE a 4-0 lead 12 minutes into the second half before ENC got on the scoreboard when Brenna Mereness converted a penalty kick.  Caron completed the scoring in the 78th minute on a goal assisted by Michelle Epstein, her second set-up of the contest.

Leigh Engel made five saves to earn the victory for UNE (3-0), which heads to Colby on Tuesday for a non-conference game starting at 4:30 p.m.
