QUINCY, Mass. -- Michael Magnuson's deflected shot found the back of the net, giving the Eastern Nazarene Crusaders a 1-0 win over the University of New England Nor'easters in The Commonwealth Coast Conference men's soccer action Saturday afternoon at Memorial Stadium.

Magnuson's goal late in the first half provided ENC (1-4-1) with its first victory of the season.  UNE (1-2) has lost two straight.

The Nor'easters, who lost despite outshooting Eastern Nazarene 19-5, return to the pitch Wednesday night (7:00 p.m.) when they host Mount Ida College for a non-conference match.
