BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College volleyball team cruised past the University of New England, 3-0, in a non-conference match at Farley Field House Wednesday evening. The Polar Bears (4-1) dispensed of the Nor'easters (1-6) for the sixth straight time, winning by game scores of 25-10, 25-22 and 25-12.

A balanced Bowdoin attack featured a team-high 10 kills from rookie Kristin Hanczor. Jenna Diggs sparked the offense with 22 assists while Anna Noucas shined defensively with 13 digs. For UNE, Claire Varner totaled four kills and five digs while Alex Toregas posted four kills and six blocks.

The Nor'easters will return to action on Saturday at Wentworth Institute of Technology. Bowdoin will host the C-B-B (Colby-Bates-Bowdoin) Tournament on Saturday.
