Nor'easters tie nationally-ranked Western New England

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- The University of New England men's soccer team and nationally-ranked Western New England College played to a scoreless draw in The Commonwealth Coast Conference men's soccer action Saturday afternoon.

WNEC, rated third in the region and 22nd in the nation, now own a record of 12-1-5, 8-0-4 in conference play.  The Nor'easters stand at 4-7-4, 3-6-3 in TCCC games.

Junior Derek Poulin earned the shutout by turning away 12 WNEC shots on goal.  The Golden Bears held a 28-11 advantage in shots and a 13-2 margin in corner kicks.

The Nor'easters conclude their regular season Wednesday with a home game versus New England College.
