NEWPORT, R.I. – Rebecca Fiske '09 (Charlton, Mass.) scored in the 93rd minute to give Salve Regina University a 1-0 overtime victory against the University of New England in The Commonwealth Coast Conference women's soccer on Saturday.

Salve Regina (6-11, 5-7 TCCC) had a free kick to the left of New England goalie #Leigh Engel# '10 (Richmondville, N.Y.) just outside the box. After it went off a few players, Fiske was able to collect a carom and drive a low shot to the right of Engel for the game winner.

Salve goalkeeper Katie Vaudrain (Pawtucket, R.I.) made 12 saves to record her fifth shutout of the season.

The Nor'easters (5-10-1, 5-7-1) got a strong game from Cassie Zdtrojeski '11 (Massapequa Park, N.Y.). Zdtrojeski had three shots, including one that went off the crossbar in the 57th minute. Late in the game, she dropped back and played defense for the Nor'easters. Engel made five saves in net.

Salve Regina hosts Endicott in its regular-season finale on Tuesday (3:30 p.m.). Currently tied for eighth place in the conference, the Seahawks need a win or tie against the first-place Gulls to keep their postseason hopes alive. UNE has finished its regular season. The Nor'easters' playoff fate is yet to be determined.
