Previously, he was at Brandeis University, where he served as Associate Head Coach and top assistant for six seasons.  During Coach Ewing’s time at Brandeis, the Judges averaged more than 18 wins per season, including four consecutive 20-win seasons the last four years.  In both the 2005-06 and 2006-07 seasons, Brandeis advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.  While working for the Judges, he was a member of the University Athletic Association Coaching Staff of the Year.

Coach Ewing is the Women's Basketball Chairperson for The Commonwealth Coast Conference and is also a member of the NCAA Regional Advisory Committee.

Prior to his tenure at Brandeis, Ewing served as top assistant coach at Keene State College for five years.  He was the team’s recruiting coordinator and academic coordinator at Keene.

Coach Ewing is a 1995 graduate of Keene State, where he attained a bachelor’s degree in physical education with a specialization in sports management.  Ewing graduated from Deering High School in 1990.

Ewing also serves as the Athletics Department's liaison to the Housing Office and Dining Services.  He and his wife, Jenn, have two daughters--Hailey and Kelsey.
