Men's basketball player Devin Thompson has been named UNE Athlete of the Month for December 2014.

In what was a short month for UNE's teams due to semester break, the junior guard averaged 22.0 points, 4.0 steals and 3.0 assists in two games. He also made 7 of 17 (41.1 percent) three-point attempts.

In 39 minutes of playing time versus Eastern Nazarene College, Thompson netted 26 points on 11-for-16 accuracy from the floor.
