Women's soccer player Lindsey Monaco has been named the UNE Athlete of the Month for October 2014.

Monaco collected some serious hardware at the end of the month, as she was named CCC Defensive Player of the Year, CCC Co-Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year, and first team all-conference.

In eight matches during October, Monaco helped anchor a defense that allowed just 0.38 goals per match. On the offensive end of the field, she contributed two goals and five assists.
