Men's basketball player Charles Fenner III has been named the UNE Athlete of the Month for February 2012.

Fenner averaged 15.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.3 steals over six games during the period. The stretch included his second 30+ point outing of the season, when he hit the number exactly by draining 11 of 20 shots from the floor and five treys in a triumph over Eastern Nazarene. The junior guard also had eight rebounds and three steals in the contest -- both highs for the month.

He also posted a solid 21 points in a road setback to Endicott.
