Women's Lacrosse player Jesalyn Dvorak has been named UNE Athlete of the Month for April.

Dvorak, a junior from Windsor, Conn., tallied 12 goals and three assists during the period. She had a high of three scores at New England College, and registered one marker each against nationally-ranked NESCAC opponents Bowdoin and Colby.

The midfielder also compiled 30 ground balls, 16 draw controls, and 13 caused turnovers in nine games. Against Colby-Sawyer, Dvorak picked up a game-high six ground balls, and twice during the stretch had games with three caused turnovers.
