Men's lacrosse player Dan Leyden has been chosen University of New England Athlete of the Month for March.

Leyden, a senior attackman from Northfield, Mass., scored 15 goals and added three assists in six games for the Nor'easters, who are off to a program-best 4-2 start.  He had a six-goal performance in a win over Lasell College and a four-goal effort in a victory versus Anna Maria College.

Leyden was selected The Commonwealth Coast Conference co-Player of the Week and ECAC New England co-Player of the Week on March 23.
