Following graduate school, Bailey spent two years (2003-05) as Head Athletic Trainer and Instructor of Athletic Training at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford. She then returned to her home state to work as an Athletic Trainer and Rehabilitation Aide at Saco Bay Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy in Standish. During that time, she also served as Head Athletic Trainer at Bonny Eagle High School.

The Oakfield, Maine native now lives in Lyman with her husband, Mitch, and their two children, Kenny and Addy.
