Personal: her parents are Julie and George Kohl... majoring in medical biology, with minors in both anthropology and health, medicine, & society... a Dean's List student... active with UNE's American Red Cross Club, Female Athlete Alliance, and Relay for Life.

Prior to UNE: transfer from one year at Husson University, where she competed in field hockey, indoor track, and outdoor track... graduated from Messalonskee High School, and totaled 11 varsity letters between field hockey (3), swimming (4), and outdoor track (4)... senior captain of the swim team... outdoor track school records in 3200m and 4x800 relay.
