Prior to UNE: a four-year varsity swimmer at Alvirne High School in New Hampshire... earned the Coach's  Award for the 2011-2012 season... was a two-time winner of the Most Improved Award for her Pride Club team... attended Universidad Pablo de Olavide.

Personal: the daughter of Suzane and George Bistany... majoring in nursing.
