Personal: the daughter of Cindy and Eric Springer... majoring in biochemistry... a Dean's List student, member of the CCC Academic All-Conference Team, and inductee into the Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society... active with UNE's Chemistry Club.
Prior to UNE: was a two-year varsity swimmer at Portland High School... served as a captain her senior year... was a YMCA Club Swimmer for seven years.
