Personal: her parents are Margaret and William Prentiss... majoring in both secondary education and environmental science... a Dean's List student... active with UNE's Undergraduate Student Government (Social Sciences Senator), Education Club, Outing Club, and Be Like Brit Club... also involved with Educators Rising.

Prior to UNE: was a three-year member of the varsity swim team at Danvers High School.
