2nd Season
Coaching Experience
Gerhardt is back for her second season with UNE. She was an assistant coach at NCAA Division III Drew University during the 2007-08 season, and, more recently, she was the Associate Director of Competitive Aquatics at the Madison Area YMCA in New Jersey.
Playing Experience
Gerhardt (formerly Boettrich) was a four-year swimmer for the University at Buffalo (NCAA Division I), and was a part of the 400 medley relay team that set the program record (3:52.75) in 2000. As a senior, she served as a team captain and received the Coach's Award.
Education
Gerhardt earned a bachelor's degree in international studies from Buffalo in 2003, while minoring in German. She is an American Swim Coaches Association (ASCA) Level II certified coach. Gerhardt is in the midst of the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program at UNE.
