Foley will make the 2014-25 season her first at the helm of the women's swimming program.


A native of South Portland, Maine, Foley graduated from UNE in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in applied exercise science and swam for the Nor'easters as a junior and senior after transferring from Saint Joseph's College of Maine. After working as a clinical exercise physiologist, she went on to attain a master's degree in movement science with a specialization in exercise science from Barry University in Florida.

Foley, who has coached swimming in the Westbrook school system and field hockey at Cheverus High School, is a competitive road racer and triathlete. She is also a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association, as well as the American College of Sports Medicine.

Foley and her husband, Mike Williams, reside in South Portland.
