Personal: the daughter of Martha and Kamal Bezzat... majoring in marine biology... active with UNE's Undergraduate Student Government as the Natural Science Representative, Storm Surge Club, Muslim Student Association, and Ukulele Club... is a technician in the Byron Lab, and is a supervisor for Intramural Sports... her grandfather, Richard, played football at Clemson University.
Prior to UNE: participated in varsity soccer, basketball, track & field, and crew at Malden High School... captained the basketball and soccer teams... was an all-star in crew.
