Personal: the daughter of Jeanne and Jeffrey Bates... majoring in applied exercise science.

Prior to UNE: transfer from St. Thomas Aquinas College, where she played one season of lacrosse... graduated from Liverpool High School (N.Y.)... as a senior, earned the lacrosse team's Most Improved Defensive Player Award and was a second team Salt Lake City All-Star.
