2012: made 16 appearances during the season, 15 of which were starts... was voted as the CCC Co- and ECAC New England Defensive Player of the Year, while garnering first team all-CCC and all-ECAC New England status, as well as second team all-region from the IWLCA... had 55 ground balls and 44 caused turnovers on the year, to go with 21 draw controls, two goals, and three assists... recorded season-highs of six ground balls and six caused turnovers in the CCC semifinal against Gordon... forced at least two turnovers on 15 occasions... named CCC Defensive Player of the Week once... she led the CCC in per-game averages of ground balls and caused turnovers, and her caused turnover numbers ranked fourth among all players in Division III.

2011: played in 14 games for UNE... tallied six goals and an assist... scored a pair of goals at Curry... grabbed 14 draw controls... had 14 caused turnovers on the season, including a personal-best five at Anna Maria.

2010: played in all 17 matches, starting in 15... finished the season with seven goals and four assists... registered a season-high two markers against Colby... ranked third on the team with 29 draw controls... had 42 ground balls and 16 caused turnovers.

Prior to UNE: attended Ocean City High School in New Jersey.

Personal: is the daughter of Jennifer Wiel and William Steel... majoring in pharmacy.
