Personal: her parents are Jill and Steve Deschamps... majoring in medical biology (pre-physician assistant), with a minor in health, medicine, and society... active with UNE's EMS and serves as a volunteer with the Harrisville Fire Department.

Prior to UNE: a first team all-division field hockey player for three seasons at Burrillville High School... team MVP as both a sophomore and junior.
