Sue Estabrook has spent the last 13 seasons leading the women's lacrosse program at UNE (including partial campaigns in both 2020 and 2021), increasing her total as a collegiate head coach to 20 years. The Nor'easters have twice (2010 and 2012) registered a program-record 12 wins (12-5) in a season, and Estabrook has guided the squad to a 56-40 mark (.583) in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) with seven appearances in the league semifinals.

Estabrook (formerly Frost) spent the three seasons prior to UNE as the head coach at the University of Southern Maine [NCAA III]. She was selected as the Little East Conference (LEC) Coach of the Year in 2008, after leading the Huskies to the league title game.

Before her stint at USM, she held head coaching positions at Binghamton University [NCAA I] and Wesley College [NCAA III] -- three years and one year, respectively. Estabrook also spent a season as club coach Molloy College [NCAA II].

Over the course of her career, Estabrook's teams have won 125 games.

Estabrook is a 1997 graduate of Marist College [NCAA I], where she earned a bachelor’s degree in English. She played lacrosse and served as team captain for the Red Foxes.

The Bethpage, N.Y. native and her husband, Tom, reside in Yarmouth.
