Banfield was an assistant for two years (2015-17) at the University of Southern Maine [NCAA III].

Competitive Experience / Education
Banfield played four seasons (2010-14) at USM. The two-year captain skated in 102 games for the Huskies, totaling 47 points on 20 goals (10 power-play) and 27 assists. She graduated from USM in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in sports management.
