Competitive Experience / Education
Flanagan played two seasons for the Nor'easters as a graduate student in 2023-24 and 2024-25 under current head coach, Kasey Keenan. His scoring average of 77.64 (+6.50) is more than one stroke better than any other player in UNE program history, and he earned all-conference status in his first season. Flanagan recorded one of the five 18-hole rounds at even par or better, posting 72 during a two-day tournament at Brunswick Golf Club [Bowdoin Invitational]. He finished first or second in four different events, including a win against a 35-player field with a round of 74 (+3) at Spring Meadows Golf Club [Husky Invitational]. Flanagan graduated with a master's degree in biological sciences in 2025.

He played four seasons (2019-22) at Saint Joseph's College of Maine, and landed all-conference status as a senior with a 75.4 scoring average.

His younger sister, Abby, is a member of the UNE women's golf team.
