On the Course: part of the scoring five runners for the team in every one of 30 races during her four seasons, highlighted by seven victories and 23 top 10's spread evenly across each year... led the UNE contingent 14 times... [2016] captured the Pop Crowell Invitational in a field of 120... all-conference accolades from 4th-place (behind teammates) effort at the CCC Championship... named as the CCC Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year... CCC Runner of the Week once... [2015] claimed the UNE Invitational out of a field of 151... all-conference notation after a 3rd-place showing at the CCC Championship... twice the CCC Runner of the Week... All-ECAC recognition with 7th-place at the ECAC Championship... also took 2nd (behind a teammate) out of 118 at the Shacklette Invitational... [2014] won two events, including the CCC Championship by less than a second in a field of 123 to earn the CCC Runner of the Year title and all-conference status... also took the 140-competitor UNE Invitational... gained the labels of All-ECAC for her 3rd-place run at the ECAC Championship, and all-state for her 4th-place at the Maine Championship... wound up 3rd (behind teammates) at the Pop Crowell Invitational... four weekly awards (3 CCC Runner of the Week, 1 ECAC) during the season... [2013] victorious in three meets during her rookie campaign, at the UNE Invitational (out of 137), the Pop Crowell Invitational (out of 177), and the Elms Invitational (out of 129)... landed all-conference honors with 10th at the CCC Championship... CCC Runner/ECAC Runner of the Week twice each, and four times the CCC Rookie of the Week... named UNE's Most Outstanding Runner.

Personal: the daughter of Dee and James Sorbello... majoring in pharmacy... a Dean's List student, 3-time member of the CCC Academic All-Conference Team, and inductee into the Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society... selected to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team... has volunteered at field hockey camps and soup kitchens... a member of the Neuroscience Club.

Prior to UNE: was a highly-accomplished field hockey player and indoor/outdoor track athlete at Dover High School... earned six MVP awards between indoor and outdoor track, as well as one MVP award in field hockey... was a five-time New England Championships participant in indoor and outdoor track... served as a captain of both sports her senior year... collected a total of 11 varsity letters... earned all-state accolades as a field hockey player.
