2009-10: saw the ice in 15 of the team's 25 contests... had an assist in the team's victory over Wesleyan.

Prior to UNE: Matt graduated from Bishop Brady High School, where was named Rookie of the Year his freshman season and Most Valuable Player as a junior... three-time academic honor roll member.

Personal: the son of Kim and Jeff Denning... majoring in applied exercise science... has volunteered for the Make-a-Wish Foundation and with the YMCA.
