Previous Coaching Experience
Borer most recently coached at Benilde-St. Margaret's High School. He has served as a NAHL regional scout for the Kenai Brown Bears and the Minnesota Wilderness, and was head coach of the Nashville Jr. Predators NA3HL team. Before that, Borer was the assistant coach for one season (2016-17) at SUNY Potsdam [NCAA III].
Competitive Experience / Education
Borer graduated from UNE in 2015 with a bachelor's degree in sport management. He played two seasons (2013-15) of defense for the Nor'easters, totaling four goals and 14 assists over 44 games. He also played 10 games at Niagara University [NCAA I] during the 2011-12 campaign.
