At UNE: earned all-conference accolades in each of his first two seasons, placing sixth at the CCC Championship in 2011 in 2012... was named CCC Runner of the Week once and CCC Rookie of the Week three times in 2011... earned one CCC Runner of the Week Award in 2012... selected UNE's Rookie Athlete of the Year in 2011 and the team's Most Valuable Runner in 2012... has five Top 20 finishes a year ago, including three Top 10's... is a member of the UNE Track and Field Club...
Prior to UNE: participated in cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track as he attended Glastonbury HS... an all-conference performer in both cross country and outdoor track.
Personal: son of Tracy Murphy... majoring in environmental science with a minor in economics.
