2020: CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team.
2019: ran 7 races... led the team scoring 7 times... 5x CCC Runner of the Week... U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division III All-Academic Team, and CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team... winner of 3 events, including the Jim Sheehan Invitational (field of 103), Western New England (field of 168), and Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship (field of 105)... first NCAA qualifier in UNE history, with the men's program's first all-region effort (18th of 384)... finished 154th of 279 at the national championship race.
2018: ran 7 races... led the team scoring 7 times... 5x CCC Runner of the Week, 6x CCC Rookie of the Week... U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division III All-Academic Team... winner of 4 events, including the Saint Joseph's Invitational (field of 36), UNE Invitational (field of 61), Pop Crowell Invitational (field of 140), and Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship (field of 97)... UNE Male Rookie of the Year for 2018-19.

Personal: the son of Katie and John Hickey... majoring in both biological sciences and health, wellness, & occupational studies... a Dean's List student, member of the CCC Academic All-Conference Team, and inductee into the Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society... also a member of the Alpha Chi Honor Society... played on the UNE basketball team as a first-year.

Prior to UNE: graduated from Winthrop High School (Maine), where he was on the cross country and basketball teams... all-state performer in cross country... finalist for Mr. Maine Basketball... Player of the Year from the Sun Journal and Kennebec Journal, all-state team from the Portland Press Herald and Bangor Daily News.
