Personal: the son of Fiorina Reda-Hernandez and Ruben Hernandez, Jr.... majoring in both marine science and environmental science, with minors in both chemistry and geographical information systems... a Dean's List student... active with UNE's Birding Club, and a member of the UNE North Affiliate Team.

Prior to UNE: participated in cross country and indoor track at Monmouth Regional High School... cross country captain as a senior.
