Prior to UNE: graduated from Marshfield High School, where he was a state champion in the 400-meter run.

Personal: the son of Leslie and Jeff Hubbard... majoring in nursing... a Dean's List student, 2-time member of the CCC Academic All-Conference Team, and inductee into the Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society.
