Previous Coaching Experience
Sparks joins the UNE staff after two seasons (2017-18) as assistant at Assumption College [NCAA II]. The Greyhounds were 24-17 overall with an appearance in the conference final during that time.
Competitive Experience / Education
Sparks played four years (2013-16) on defense for Merrimack College [NCAA II], starting in all 55 appearances during the last three seasons and totaling 72 for her career. The Warriors went 48-28 over that time, reaching the national championship game in 2015 and the national semifinals in 2013. Sparks was chosen to the NCAA All-Tournament Team in 2015, on top of a second team all-conference selection. She graduated from Merrimack in 2017 with a bachelor's degree in athletic training.
