A member of the UNE field hockey team at its inception, Kayla Hinkley '06 steps on the other side of the lines to join the coaching staff.
Kayla was a three-year starter for the Nor'easters and played in 46 matches over three seasons. She finished her career with 12 total points (2 goals, 8 assists), and was a two-time all-Commonwealth Coast Conference selection.
A true scholar-athlete, Kayla served as president of the University's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. She is currently serving a three-year term on the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Management Council.
Kayla, a native of Berlin, N.H., received her master's in occupational therapy from UNE last May.
