At UNE: one of the team's steadiest runners over the last three seasons.... a captain of this year's squad... named team Rookie of the Year in 2009... selected CCC Rookie of the Week during that season... has earned the team's Most Improved Runner award... is a tour guide in Admissions.

Prior to UNE: earned the Charlie Scott Award while attending Newburyport High School... named Most Valuable Runner her sophomore and junior years and Most Improved Runner as a first-year.

Personal: the daughter of Nancy and Joe Martins... is majoring in applied exercise science/pre-physical therapy.
