Personal: the daughter of Laura and Russ Zito... majoring in medical biology... her brother, Ian, currently swims at Roger Williams University.

Prior to UNE: four years of varsity swimming at Cumberland High School (R.I.)... qualified for the state championship three times... factored in school records for the 200-freestyle relay and 400-freestyle relay.
