Personal: her parents are Diane and Robert Griffin... majoring in marine affairs, with a minor in animal behavior... a Dean's List student... her father played baseball at SUNY Cortland... active with UNE's Undergraduate Student Government.
Prior to UNE: graduated from Rome Free Academy (N.Y.), where she was a qualifier for the state swimming meet in the 50 freestyle.
