Personal: her parents are Amy and Jim Jewell... majoring in nursing... a Dean's List student, Sophomore Scholar, Leader Scholar, and member of the CCC Academic All-Conference Team... active with UNE's American Red Cross Club (co-founder and Vice President) and In Active Minds Club... Global Health Intern at Partners for World Health.
Prior to UNE: earned 12 varsity letters in cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track at Dover High School... senior captain of each... in cross country, was the team MVP as both a junior and senior, and Rookie of the Year... in outdoor track career, received the team's Rookie of the Year, MVP, and Coach's Award, in addition to being part of a 4x800Â relay that established a school record.
