2013-14 ECAC East Honorable Mention

2013-14: coming off one of the finest seasons a member of the Nor'easters has had... set a school record with 16 goals... was an honorable mention all-league selection... selected a semifinalist for the Joe Concannon Award... chosen ECAC East Offensive Player of the Week (Feb. 18)... tallied a school-record four goals, including the overtime game-winner, in the Nor'easters' thrilling 5-4 overtime victory over Saint Anselm... moved into third place all-time in points (56). 

2012-13: one of nine players on last year's roster to appear in all 25 games... tallied 10 goals and added 10 assists to finish second on the squad with 20 points... scored a pair of goals in a 5-4 win over Suffolk... closed the season strong, racking up five points over Big Blue's final two games... had a career-best three points in UNE's victory over St. Anselm.

2011-12: scored three goals and was credited with six assists in 19 contests.

Prior to UNE: played for the Portland Jr. Pirates after graduating from Bellarmine College Preparatory in California... baseball, roller hockey, and ice hockey team member in high school... MVP of ice hockey team.

Personal: the son of Lesley and Steve Melman... medical biology major with a minor in business administration... an all-state performer on the golf team as a first-year... is a Dean's List student and member of the ECAC East all-academic team.
