Prior to UNE: transfer from Marshall University... is a graduate of Winnacunnet High School, where she swam her first year and sophomore year... was named Swimmer of the Year by the Portsmouth Herald and Hampton Union... selected team MVP in 2007... ranked in the Top 10 in New England for distance and backstroke... qualified and competed at sectionals.
Personal: her parents are Paula and Mark Sweeney... majoring in medical biology (pre-physician assistant).
