2009-10: drew nine starting assignments in the team's 25 games... finished with a 4.57 goals against average and .887 save percentage... went the distance in the Nor'easters' 6-1 victory over Wesleyan... recorded an assist versus eventual national champion Norwich... was a member of the ECAC East academic all-conference team.

Prior to UNE: graduated with honors from North Nova Education Center... MVP of the hockey team... recipient of the Coach's Award and Top Goaltender Award.

Personal: son of Joni and Jim Roper... majoring in business administration... assistant captain for the Nor'easters' pre-varsity team in 2007-08 and recipient of the Defensive Player of the Year Award... has volunteered with a soup kitchen and the Tim Horton's Children's Foundation.
